Vital functions of microorganisms
All living things perform the three vital functions: nutrition, interaction and reproduction. Cells in multicellular organisms group together to form tissues and organs. Each of these performs specific functions. Multicellular organisms therefore share the different functions among the cells that they are formed from.
In unicellular organisms, however, all the functions are performed by the same cell.
After completing this research task, use a computer to create a presentation that explains how unicellular organisms perform their vital functions.
